Infantry CBT feedback
It's bad, even as a beta. This is more of a pre-alpha and to think there's Enlisted as a framework. It like a 2017 Arma2 mod and im questioning why Arma2 when there's Arma3 mods if that makes sense

Really does not feel great to play as it stands

Was kinda to be expected that it is going to be bad. Its just Enlisted put into War Thunder for whatever reason and Enlisted is argueably one of the worst Games out there especially the Bots in it are dumber than PS1 Enemies and the Bot-Squad System in it as a whole which they seem to just copy into here.

What would be cool would be an BF6 with an more mechanized / Combined Arms Focus and more Vehicles like in WT. Whats not cool is War Thunder with more focus on Infantry especially if that is just Enlisted and WT itself already is aged.
Yeah, not seeing much potential for this mode. This will be a money sink option
Yeah this is not feeling good at all to play lol feels super clanky. The sound design is awful, when the battle started it was just a bunch guys running, silent. It reminded me instantly why Enlisted felt so off...This just feels like Enlisted but somehow even worse.
I can run normal WT perfectly fine with 90FPS, but I only get 30-40 on infantry.. lol
Gunplay looks awful just like with every gaijin shooter.

Im not kidding when i say that many many 15 - 20 year old shooters have better gun play (RO2, COD, etc.).

Yup...I am really disappointed but not surprised at this. It feels it would have just been better to include AI infantry in the regular game modes just so that we have a proper use for IFVs.
the gunplay feels alright to me, my issue is the movement feels awkward and doesn't flow well. doming some dude with the as val feels nice. and i cannot be any more disinterested in my rag tag squad of clankers

In a way same here. Can get 116 fps in air and tank battles. But Infantry barely am able to get 60 as it dips below that a lot.

It actually feels kinda like clunky battlefield tbh, it's not the worst but yeah it's not great.

The movement though...hoo boy movement feels awful. I think they felt being slow and cumbersome was "Realistic" but it's a video game and even realism fans are going to hate it if it stays how it is.

They did the same with movement in Enlisted, its quite heavy there as well and I think it works fine in Enlisted. But I feel it is much heavier in WT. It needs to be sped up a little.

Not a question about feeling slow lol most of the shooters I play are milsim or more inclined for realism and the problem is not being slow. The problem is the movement feels awful, it feels clunky. The entire gameplay does honestly.

Yeah I play those games too, but this feels even slower, unrealistically slow in fact.

Movement feels awful and clunky because you have a very slow going acceleration on movement that takes a while to kick in; and moving to the side resets it entirely.
There is an acceleration build up on most actions as well that is also reset easily; you have no momentum at all in the game though; which is what causes that clunky feeling you are noticing.
its not for the cod kids and for that im happy :))))

Uhhh.... Have you played it yet?

It's actually far more casual than COD is; just because it's slower and more clunky kinda means it is less like cod I guess....but COD isn't about shooting AI targets that are zero threat to you and just holding the sprint key.

The gunplay is also less realistic than cod or battlefield.

It just in general feels bad to play, unrealistic with poor input feedback due to momentum cancellation.
It feels like an arcade shooter (low quality one) mixed with tarkov mayyybe arma3+ controls but just slightly busted in comparison. I don't think theres much in terms of settings for controls that i seen, would be nice to have toggle aim/sprint and other common settings found in shooter games to make QoL better
Edit: gunplay could improve greatly
