Bf-109 vs. Fw 190. Which do you prefer?

Those of you who have achieved a few levels in the German nation will have noticed a large selection of Bf-109's and Fw-190's to choose from. It is obvious why, as these were among the main fighters that Germany used during WW2. They are both good plane lines, with their particular strengths and weaknesses...

My question to you, overall, which line do you prefer, and why?

I personally prefer the Bf-109 line, because I think I grew attached to that line earlier, even though I consider the Fw-190 overall a better plane. Having 6 cannons on the 190 A5/U2 certainly helps =D, but the climb rate of the 109 takes my fancy.

Well the 109's and the FW's have their Pro's and Cons. I've found that the later 109's aere faster and climb better than the early FW. However the FW can have rockets and they have more cannons. I personally try to make sure I have both in my group when in arcade, but in HB or FRB, I chose what I feel like.

I also prefer Bf109, I'm just used to it. Tried premium "Dora" - well, Fw aren't for me=)

Though I'm lvl 15 with Germany I like to xp my aircraft out, so I haven't even put a Fw into service yet (though I've purchased everythign up to Ta-152 in view of 1.37), only time I've flown one is a mission vs AI, and they seem very well-armed and quite nice to handle.

Grew attached to the BF-* series planes earlier? You have like 6 -7 tiers of BF-* planes before a FW-* comes available at tier 10.

That's right, which is why I grew attacked to it first.
