Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Pitching down
So over the last couple of nights, I've noticed that my plane is slowly pitching down when I use my Joystick. Is this an issue with the game or the joystick? I've only had the joystick for maybe a week. Also if it is a game issue, how do I fix it?

Have you tried calibrating it in Windows Control Panel? I used to use the same stick in IL2 and sometimes the calibration would just go wacky and needed a reset.

No I have not, I've tried looking in control panel but can't find where to Calibrate it. I'm running Windows 7

I have a similar problem. when I use my joystick it always yaws left. I think the problem is with the setup and can be fixed by calibrating the controler but im too lazy to try or find out how. I can fly perfectly fine as long as I keep my rudder a little too the right when I want to fly straight. If all else fails, just get in the habit of keeping your pitch slightly up.

To calibrate it in Win 7 go to Control Panel/Hardware and Sound right click on Logitech 3D then
Game Controller Settings/Properties.

Thanks Pow, that worked wonders :)

Nicee. Glad I could help. Now go fight the enemy instead of your stick, haha. I found with this stick I had to re-calibrate it from time to time, especially if I unplugged it. Great stick, durable, solid base and lots of buttons. Hope to see you on some Historic Battles.

Sure thing! Here's hoping I'll be a formidable opponent by then :P

I've had this issue too! I also noticed that sometimes the plane's nose pitches UP when I want it to pitch down (aka I'm pushing the stick away from me). I'm not sure what you mean by calibrating...I went to the Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers, then I right clicked on "Logitech Extreme 3D" and clicked the bolded "Properties." I didn't see any calibration option

Hiya Anomalous. This got me too when i first tried it. So when you get into "Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers" right click on your joystick controller ie "Logitech Extreme 3D". From there a drop box should appear with 4 options to choose from. I'll list them below:
-Game Controller Settings
-Create Shortcut
-Troubleshoot
-Properties

Those are the choices given, you want to select "Game Controller Settings" which will open a smaller window. Once that smaller window appears, it will have two options to choose:
-Advanced...
-Properties

You want to click "Properties" which will open a 2-tabbed window(Test, and Settings) Switch to the Settings tab and then click "Calibrate". Then just follow the prompts. Hope you understand this, and that it helps :)
