Because it is technically a high/top tier naval vehicle, as weird as that is. It should have had a similar cost to the squadron Apache or the squadron hunter to begin with but now it will sit with the 2PL, AIM and UK, rank 5=rank 7 for naval.

With no notice or warning or communication by the developer. A change that should be made at start of a major update. Not sneakily added when people are moan about lack of communication on another silver lion subject. I don't wish to have my time and squadron research points wasted on SKR7 . There is no way to switch to another vehicle , this was removed. Awful all around.

Not the point the point is they sneaked in the change and gave no warning. I agree the SKR7 is a OP make believe ship in game. But doesn't change the fact I would like to change my squadron rp to something else now a change has been made.

This change was made public ~2 weeks ago and was implemented on 5/14 and then re-announced on 5/15 (gaijin forgot to send the news update with the update itself lol.)

Also why at a time mid update why not make a big change at the start of new update. Makes no sense as per. Communication is severely lacking

FizzyElf where are you getting your info from that it was made public? It's not on the official forum . News . Dev blog. Data mine or anything. How about they announce it not sneak in changes. When the silver lion storm is brewing.

These changes are set up to be done separately and they are made public on gaijin's main forum, sometimes posted on steam in the news tab BUT keep in mind that changes like this as well as minor events are only posted on the community news tab and will not show up when looking at the game's news feed in your steam library. Gaijin mostly relies on the youtube community to get the word out about new balance/economy changes and new vehicles leading up to updates, generally it works out, sometimes they drop the ball and people start finding out way before any official news is made available or no news is provided, for example with balance updates you are supposed to get a pop up in game with all the information included in it but they forgot to included it with this update.

Communication is at the desired level, we will only see changes if they actually need something from the community like the big end of the year sales or major events, which in turn means they need boat loads of money. We also see communication increase when there is a community vote or major issue that has to be addressed but not to the degree we see for events like major updates/operation S.U.F.F.E.R. and W.I.N.TE.R. and for sales.

Wow I title ,a sentence and a link to a spreadsheet on squadron research point changes, where only the skr7 is increasing in RP. And a video from a Content Creator not everyone watches. Surely it says that the SKR7 has a bigger issue with it. Like it's OP AF. Maybe they need to address that .

SKR-7 is OP versus coastal boats. A very easy kill with Blue Water. Main usefulness is getting rocket kills for challenges.

I disagree unfortunately I've played this game for a decade and communication with the community is lacking, respect for community is lacking , not at all anywhere near the desired level.
