It IS actually in the game. You just need to activate it in your steam inventory, then you can use it in the game as a decal.

If you go into the decal section in game at the bottom there are snow flakes but you cant use them yet though. I guess people did ask for trading cards...

I didn't get it in my inventory, it just appeared in the game message system along with a deluge of other stuff.

They work fine for me. I completelly covered my planes with these snowflakes... Looks funny.
