how is the single player?

hi, i'm wondering how the signle player is...is worth the price of the starter pack? or is included in free to play version too?

You need to buy the campaigns, and they are quite bad and poorly done repetitive missions from what I've head. The rest of the "single player" is free, but its mostly unplayable. The single missions are either impossible to do or broken in some way, only about 30% of them actually work and they are a waste of time since you don't really get anything for them. Haven't tried the "dynamic campaign" but from the looks of it - its just random missions with little point in doing them.

Theres some missions you can play in sp depending on nations. Only bad thing I can say is that a few pacific ones for example, if there's 1 or 2 enemy bot planes left all they do is run away forever until you run up the timer. In missions where you use slower planes already weighted with bombs and torps, this gets really annoying.

the pacific campaign that you purchase is one of the poorest single player experiences I've had in any game. absolutely rubbish. multiplayer is fun though...

so whats is good about this game? PvP only?

ya the arcade combat is a blast and there are historical and full realism matches if your more hardcore into the pvp aspect

whats good? .....getting your wing shot off and making it back to base....that is fun...but seriously for a free game...this is a blast, even though i suck....its fun as heck to go for ground targets with enemies shooting at you or the good ol' RAMMMMM!....addicting game and very educational...sry, but it is...:)

P2W.....?.....kinda....and now is the time....50% off as I type this....sooooo yes you can get an advantage but who cares....I am not playing this in Esports...its fun to EARN your planes...but the Mustang is calling me....and that plane is a beast in real life....curious how it performs here....

The main aspect of the game is the PvP. You level up whilst playing online and yes, earn better planes. Playing online is the intended way to do this. There is an argument as to whether it is P2W, and I maintain that it certainly is not. That, however, is an argument for another thread >.>

And I maintain that Russia has the weakest planes in the game. And I'm totally saying that with a straight face...

For op you might just be joining new right on time now that tanks are coming soon™ so game might not get boring too fast.
