War thunder does not recognize my trackir

I have recently recieved a trackIR clip pro (and the camera with it). When i run the software and plug the whole thing in it works just fine (there is no interference from outside light sources, it tracks my head movements perfectly, the left green light is lit, etc ...) but whatever i do, i cannot get it to work for war thunder.

I have tried everything i could think of : lauching the software before and after booting up the game, restarting it while ingame, restarting the game while the software runs, i have updated the game list, searched for software updates ... but nothing seems to make it work

I have been looking all afternoon for people having the same issue but i never found anything that could help me. The green light on the left of the camera lights up but since the right one has never lit up i guess it just ... doesn't recognize the game ??? I have no idea what to do at this point. Is there something i have missed ?

mine works without doing absolutely nothing! Maybe reconfig controls?

There seems to be an issue with TrackIR5 version 5.5 recognizing the game. TrackIR5 version 5.4.2 works perfectly fine without an issue. I would recommend just using that version instead of the 5.5 version for the time being. You can just download the 5.4.2 version and run its install process. It'll automatically remove the 5.5 version and reinstall under 5.4.2 for you.
