Lol, yeah you totally haven’t just fallen foul of the 30s timer, they’re out to gag you.
No I don't.
As I said the game lived for 9 years perfectly without it as rarely anyone ever spammed and if that was truly the intention then 5 seconds would already be enough.
30 seconds for a chat cool down is too much.
10 seconds will suffice, 30 are overkill
Since they reactivated the chat I haven't seen a single political discussion or people calling each other names so what exactly is a 30 seconds "chat spam" helping in this regard? All it does is prohibit that I can warn my teammates about incoming enemy planes.
And even if that might have been the original reason for the chat deactivation: Other Gaijin games like Enlisted and other russian company games like WoT or WoWS didn't even needed to limit the chat in any way. So either the WT community is especially toxic or this whole action of Gaijin was rather excessive.
