Best Dive/Light Bomber(s) + Best Attacker(s)

Hey guys, quite a new player here!
Would like to know which are the best planes for playstyle with dive bombing or quick planes with a bit powerful guns.

I am playing as USSR and don't want to switch

e.g: Is the su2's any good? and is the lagg worth upgrading?

IMO, you took the wrong faction for bombers, I think the ''best'' bombers belong to UK and USA due to bomb load, but thats just me.

Not into big bombers, rather small quick ones for diving

Mmmh, i see. If you want the smaller stuff, germany has a bit good, but if you are going russian, PE-2 ''can'' be effective, haven't use their bombers and the IL2 is beastly.

good turn figthers would be pretty much all Yak's and LaGG's.

Oh yes, apart from Jet Figthers, they turn horrible, Except the Ho-229.

Russia doesn't have the best turnfighters, but they're pretty much good/average at everything. You'll be beat in a turnfight by british and japan planes, but russians can turnfight american and german planes.

That can be applied to everything else about the russian planes, they are good at everything, but masters at none.

The Spitfires are the go-to turnfighters for the British. For energy fighters, you'd go for the Hurricane, Typhoon, Tempest etc.

I-185 can carry bombs and rockets. It is easy to handle, quite fast, turning rate is good and 20mm ShVAK cannons x3 are very effective (Easy to drop out enemy planes even at longer distance).

The IL2s are probably your best bet for attackers. If you want fighters with bigger guns, the Yak line is probably the way to go.
If you want to go for bombers, the Yer-2s are a great choice.

Don't bother with any other nations, go full on Germany.
Obviously the best nation in the game, plus, if ME 262's and Ho's don't tickle your fancy, you can always get A MIG or a Sabre!
