Hackers/cheaters?

Went into an arcade game recently. Got into a dogfight with a spit, suddenly he instantly (Like on the spot) did a 180 degree turn and killed my pilot. Hmmm, blatant hacks, but ill give him a fair trial. I went after the same guy again, this time head-on with a beaufighter. No chance, 1 shot (I know because all i heard was a single shot and a single spark came out of my cockpit) my screen reads "Knocked out"... alrighty then. I then decided to use something rather cheap... the Typhoon + Rockets head on. 2 rockets hit him. He span out of control and that was it?? He then regained control almost instantly and began climbing!! What is this sorcery!? Not just climbing, but he climbed at the speed akin to a FW on steroids! Very similar to a jet infact.

At one point he seemed to "deliberately" crash, he just dropped out the sky, no-one got the kill as 2-3 allies pounded on his wings. I know bad connection throws you to the curb, so maybe it was bad connection. I watched him from above in a wellington: He then spawned again, and then crashed, numerous times before slingshotting up to me essentially and shot the tail off (Typical).

Maybe it was latency, server issues, ping, packet loss -I dont know, but this guy became a UFO complete with lazors and a shield.

I closed the game and took this cheeky scrubs name: -Removed-

Just watched the replay, he was lagging around like crazy, I looked at his profile, rank 100. (Not suprised really) When it came to the maneuvers on his screen it look do-able (the altitude climb was because the game had lagged him downwards and he looked like he took a hit) but still his shots were deadly accurate, most of his shots were pilot kills, not aircraft kills. He killed a pilot moving away from him, from behind. Maybe the bullet went through the airframe I dont know, but this guy seemed to know where to aim, everytime, on every target he came across. Is there some assistance being used? I cannot tell. But Im gonna need to delete + reinstall WT as the replay crashed and I had to send a "fatal error" report straight after. The game refuses to start from the launcher too. (Recent update may of caused this?) Anyway, from what I saw, it seemed mostly connection issues, but his aim was either of the gods, or assisted.

The game is impossible to hack, all the data is checked on the server so there is no chance of anything unusual getting through. Everything that happens in-game can always be explained in one way or another.

Nothing is impossible to hack and your first mistake is thinking that.

This game is full of cheaters.I was on with 2 friends,and we saw the same...7 kills in the first 2 minutes....and so on...Cheaters are the dirt under my shoes....

Hacking a server-side game isn't impossible, but it isn't easy either. This isn't hex-editing or any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from over a decade ago. I'd say 999/1,000 times the player in question isn't hacking. I've gotten 7 kills in the opening minutes of the game. Know what happened? Idiots tried to head-on a Bf-109 G6 with 2x20mm,2x13mm, and 1x30mm armament. I've had games where I get 15+kills with MAYBE three deaths. Why are people more ready to believe that someone is a hacker than an actually skilled player?

Haha I bet Sony and other companies/governments getting hacked said the exact same thing. Nothing is impossible buddy..

That said it would be hard, but a skilled person could do it and avoid their "server checks on data." I guarantee at least a few people probably have hacked clients out of the thousands, but mostly I would imagine it's lag/skill in these cases. Hell people hack WoW and other MMO games all the time and those are server-side.

the only time I ever feel something is fishy is when I get hit once or twice and both wings and tail all come off. I haven't played long enough to know if that is possible as often as I've seen it, but...

I just never believe as many hackers exists in any one game as people always claim. There's usually more variables to it

@ all those ney sayers to hacks: If its code, it can be hacked. If someone wants to hack it, he will. Thing is, sometimes you dont need to hack, but abuse flakey netcode and hit detection by forced packetloss... Anybody who played Planetside 2 knows what i mean with: "ADADADADADADADADADADADADAD....ADADADAD"

Yes, apparently this game is NOT hackable. Though it is rampant with bugs. Even when I got shot down by the Yak IN FRONT OF ME... Report the bug like you should.
