Bad Network Connection Is A Guaranteed Death?
Ok, im not new to the dogfighting scene. IL-2 Sturmovik and many other flight games and simulators have taught me valuable lessons of dogfighting etc etc.

All im saying here is that im an experienced pilot. But the "Bad Network Connection" is a guaranteed crash! No matter what you do! Numerous times (More than 10 times today) it has happened and the "Try pulling off the dive or out of the spin" doesnt help! -Ive tried that, im not thick! Ive tried everything to get out of the spin or dive etc etc, BUT NOOO, War Thunder instead throws me and my gunner hurtling towards the ground like its Thelma and Louise!

I cant understand why the devs cant just make a lagging player.... you know... stay laggy maybe or even try to improve the connection?? AKA leave their control surfaces the hell alone??? Every now and again as gamers we get connection issues, but punish the player for having a slightly higher ping than others and throw him into the ground?

At least make it so I can lag around... instead of lag aground?

I've never had a problem with controlling a plane while having bad connection, most of that stuff isn't done serverside and is on your computer, so its not related to lag or anything

i get screen freeze and i need to ctrl, alt, delete out of game, i have fast internet connection, it happens once a day maybe
The controls just "Lock up" Not because of altitude or damaged surfaces etc. But the game makes the plane pull 10G+ to the left, it goes into a spin or dive (I cant do anything at this point) and as soon as the lag finishes and im lucky ill still be airborn, but usually i have to watch my pilot and perfectly fine aircraft plumet to its fiery doom.

I feel your pain. Going from level flight to death-dive after a moment or two of high ping or packet loss is absurd. And I agree, it would be nice if the flight control surfaces would just halt instead of spazzing out. Until they fix it, if they ever do, the only thing you can really do is try and improve your connection if at all possible.

I've had a small issue with my plane moving downward even while pointing upwards during lag. But i just figured it was the game correcting my location
