What i do with a winch and how it works?

You use it to unflip tanks that have been flipped.

Get year a guy in trouble and press 0. Then tell him to press it if he hasn't already. A cable will be attached to his tank allowing you to pull him around, say, out of a ditch or back onto his tracks.

You could also pull a tank that was disabled back into cover to repair.
