The reason steam got to be so successful is because it's easy. Very easy. And you have instant gratification. As fast as your internet connection will allow.
If I have to go to some website, this isn't easy.
http://warthunder.com/en
1. Go to War Thunder in your steam Library
2. Find where it says DLC on the side and click it
3. You should see a CD key for the pack you bought
4. Take said Key and go to the WT website and click "redeem code"
5. Sign in and Redeem code
6. You now have pack activated
Also, while WT is ON steam, its not run by steam - so in WT's case, you have to play by their rules
Thanks!! I got it.
I just really wish this was disclosed before I bought it. It's a hassal.
The problem with this is that more and more games are starting to do this. The main reason many people like steam, is because you don't have remember 300 different passwords to get into every game you have. I have over 300 games on steam and it's convient. I've never bought something on steam that I had to monkey around with to be able to use. If these are the rules, they need to be CLEARLY posted when you buy something, preferably, before. It's just good business to let people know what they get into BEFORE they are into it. Agreed?
Yes. At the very least, there should have been a notification telling you how to redeem the code
