Depending on which I-16 it has a relatively high BR, and is rather slow compared to the planes it's competing with.

How can you one shot the plane and kill it with anything else in the tier the I-16 is in? Unless you have a LAGG or you hit the pilot out in one shot, it's near impossible.

The I-16 will out-turn you or out-fly you and before you know it, you're dead in one second.

In my experience it ifeel like a japanese plane: very agile but every lucky stray bullet set me ablaze or damage my engine, also 7.62 cal with 200 round belts: you are reloading most of the time. With the type 15 you can arrange your lineup to encounter biplanes most of the time, so you have sort of the upper hands, the others have pretty high BR.

the real problem is the fact that my Fw-190 A5 has a BR of 5.3 The first Yak JET is 5.7 or something stupid like that (maybe 6.7). I always go up against La-9's, P-51's, B-24's, and N1K's.

Do you play in ab? If you play in rb you will find that it is much easier. If you attack 1 by suprise then you can kill them in a few bursts. Avoid head ons and turn fighting they will beat you even if you have a big gun. I suggest you go high, dive on them and gain altitude gain. Or just play rb. I16 is not op it depends on the pilots skill and tactics quit complaining.....

Dont get in a head on with anyone with rockets. It's pretty simple. There are some planes in the game that you simply dont get in head-ons with b/c they will crush you 97/100 times.
