How to play realistic?
Hey guys, so I've been wanting to play realistic lately, but every time I try I can not for the life of me control my plane. It always wobbles and fails...am I doing something wrong, or is mouse aim wrong for realistic?

Assign W and S to elevator controls and A and D to aileron and use your keyboard for dog fights and sharp turns to avoid wobble. Remember that if you turn with the keyboard while you are going too fast your wings will snap off.

so does that mean that every time I switch from arcade to realistic I need to change my controls?

Might be an instructor issue, do you have instructor on?

No, you can keep mouse aim on and just use the keyboard for turn fighting. The best thing to do is to use the keyboard in turns then use your mouse to aim the plane.

Won't make a difference.

weird, might be aileron and elevator sensitivity?

Doesn't make a difference with mouse aim. Everything is controlled by the instructor which is what causes the wobble. Using the keyboard overrides the instructor and extends the control surfaces as far as possible at that speed.

Cool guys. I have another question. What are boosters? I see them on some of the more high tier jets...are they like another version of WEP?

They are upgraded hydraulic systems for the control surfaces, they make it easier for control surfaces to extend at high speed.

Interesting, I don't have instructor interferance with mouse aim because I turned him off... I do find that pure mouse aim utilizes some weird control surfaces so I do what most realstic players do, use keyboard ailerons in addition to regular mouse aim

You should not need to. Using those controls makes even Arcade easier.
