Which American Jet Should I Get First?
I've been looking into the pros and cons of the three jets that I can research first and was curious to see what the community thought would be a good plan. Currently, I'm leaning toward the P-80A for the low BR so I have a chance to not get massacred by F-86s.

Basically, which jet should I go for and why? :microraptor:

From what I've read on the WT forums of people asking similar questions is to go with the P80 first so you're not guarunteed to fight jet veterans.

That's what I've been thinking. I looked up the naval jet fighter and the BR is at least 7, so that and my other planes would probably result in many, many deaths. :(

If all the big-named pansies on youtube didn't scream "NERF BANSHEE NERF BANSHEE 2LOWBR LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL" i would tell you to go for it but not you have to go for the P80A to not get your goose cooked by xXxSuperJ3Tlord420xXx in a CL-13 or a MiG-15

The P80 is a good learners jet, I highly recommend that first. You have to be quite experienced and good with jets to do well with the American naval jet line.

Take the P-80A. Sure you'll still stuck with the M2 Brownings instead of the M3s but it's overall top speed is good for the starter jet. Not sure how it is stock anymore but after take off stay in level flight until you get over 375mph and then do a quick zoom climb. Remember that you can easily break 550mph where many other planes will just rip trying to catch you.

However, this plane is unforgiving as it will beat into how to fly jets as you'll die in the process of getting the hang of jet combat. Do everything you can to stay over 375mph or 400mph, do actual barrel rolls and other evasive manuevers that won't bleed your speed and energy. And there is no shame taking out AI planes if you're still not confident.

The P-80A leads to the better F-80C, the 'meh' F-84B and the three F-86s and by the time you'll get those you should be well versed enough in jet combat to fly them.
