3.7 BR?
So far i have loved the game, made it into t2 with the pz. iii line and finnaly got to the L. But going from the JI to the L was probably the worst thing i have experienced so far. Is there a way to make this tank functional vs the tanks im suddenly coming up against or is it mostly just a long deep rut while i grind to t3?

Its not that i can't get a luck kill here or there but only if they are distracted. 9/10 in a straight one on one if i dont get the drop and a lucky shot i die.

Not complaining that the tank is underpowered just trying to figure out what to do. do i give up on the pziii and switch to leveling pz. iv until i unlock t3 or ??

the PZ3 has a rather small round and the fragmentation is rather low but it has more then enough power to penetrate pretty much anything youll face at 3.7 if your not at a bad angle . your best bet is to learn the layouts of whatever tanks you find you face the most and instead of firing whenever they are visible take a little bit of time to aim for vital components or crew. the one pro of such a small round compared to other tanks at its tier is that it has a very fast reload time compared to other tanks its BR and it can be immensely faster with a well trained crew. I can usually get 1 and a half shots out for every shot they let out sometimes i can even get two shots for every shot they can get off.

At 3.7 Germans got a huge choice for a good lineup, just make sure all your tanks are 3.7.

With Germans I'd recommend using PzGr 39, and only if that doesn't go through switch to PzGr 40.

This is my first 3.7 so most of my line up is 3.0 and before. pz. iii is the only tank line i have researched into t2 even. although i almost have the stug III F researched. So i have a long way to go before i really have much choice with 3.7.

As for learning to aim slower i have definitely done that. i have typically changed my tactics lately to going off the beaten path, into bushes or tucked into a house or building and let the american or russian tanks pass me then go for the shot. the pz iii for the life of me very rarely penetrates from the front so if its not a side shot or back shot i rarely shoot unless i have back up.

But I will work on figuring out where the vitals are. Americans it seems if i can get behind and get the back of the turret its a win. russians im still figuring out. pretty much bounce or have to shoot a crap ton into the russians to do anything.

i haven't done arcade since i graduated from the first reserve vehicles. I hate the whole, they always know where you are at and how to shoot you aspect, that arcade does. No idea why people even can stand arcade to be honest. But to each their own.

A good 3.7 lineup (in my experience atleast) has been the Pz III M, Pz IV F2 and StuG III F. The 75's on the latter two are perhaps easier to use than the Pz III's 50mm gun, though when you start getting a feel for where the gunner is on enemy tanks the III becomes far more viable.

Just don't expect your armor to deflect anything more than machineguns, these things will notoriously see everything broken and everyone wounded at the first hit they take, so make sure you shoot first..

Pz IV F2 is best german 3.7 tank, very good gun and quite nimble. I had 4 to 1 kill ratio with it.
Armor is not worth a damn but reverse gear is decent so best tactic is shoot and get into cover to reload, dont sit on the open and wait for reload.
Pz III L and M are decent tanks with fast reload, when you fully mod them they get much better.
I had same lineup as Teemi06 and was doing quite good with it.

Sounds good i will work on the pz iv line then to get to the f2. just got the stug iii F so i can now focus on the pziv till i can unlcok the pz iii M.

I hardly ever do anything else than AB, it's where SL & RP are made. Also games are faster and in general more fun, but that's entirely just me.

I respect that its just not for me. But i think i have always chosen that route. Even in games like call of duty i preferred the slow tactical methodical games like disarming the bomb.
