M10 turret turn rate?
the turret on the M10 turns at about the same rate as a KV-2. For some reason that doesn't seem right to me. Was this just patched or has it always been like that?
EDIT: Just checked the stat card. 3.8 degrees/sec. That could be in contention for worst turret rotation in the game.

I know I am skeptical as well. Waiting for somebody to come up with documents disproving that.

Anyway, I think it's a good thing for the turret to be slow. The M10 is OP at that battle rating so at least it has 1 disadvantage, but still needs a battle rating change.

Just saying, this community generally does not accept wikipedia as and acceptable source. So you may want to find another source that confirms this. But thanks for finding that.

Just staying, Wikipedia is as reliable as the sources it cites. If you aren't checking the sources you are using it wrong. It took 10 seconds to research if the m10 had a manual turret and it does.
WTF the M10 has the most armor of 38, its total armor is lees then that of a 1.3 BR stuart...

http://www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/USA/ref/FM/PDFs/FM18-15.PDF - FM (Field Manual) 18-15 covering US TD operations and care of tank destroyers. Pages 32-44 are for the M10. Read parts about the turret traverse. While not said direcrly, it does indicate that it uses a manual traverse (Cranked by hand) which is VERY slow. (Yes, it had no power traverse so it is very slow.)

Edit: found the M10 field manual. http://www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/USA/ref/TM/pdfs/TM9-731G.pdf

(TM 9-731G) head down to page 250 (Section XXV Operation of the gun) and you can find clear info about the traverse and elivation. Picture also clearly shows that the traverse is done by hand via a large crank wheel.
