So my big question is, do you read what you accept before you accept it or at least google a little more? There is clearly multiple options you can take under the "Personal Account" category such as, "«War Thunder» Log In Issues. Recovering A Lost Password." and "Account access loss / Account was hacked or stolen / Account recovery" or even "Personal Account Reset" if you must.
Also, I did accidently change my login to the two-step process. The forums said, you need to update your password, and there was a link that said, "click here to update". Then it took me to a page that told me how to set up the two-step authentication. I couldn't turn back because that page automatically change the login.
Third, your not even helping me.
Finally, have you even read their support website, I read every single page that had to do with account and login issues, over and over again. So shut-up and do something useful with your life and help me.
After that remark there should be no reason for me to help you. With authenticators such as ones like Blizzard uses, it will require the code more than once, usually every login. This is still no excuse for you not to have written it down. This is your responsibility to contact a moderator on the forums or report it through support under one of the categories I told you to do. I attempted helping you. You either didn't read all of it or you don't understand.
As I said before. These categories can be selected when using support, and then you DESCRIBE YOUR ISSUE. You understand now? You don't come to a forum of non-support moderators and regular customers asking for help with a problem you won't even attempt to solve.
Anyways, I am sorry if offended you. I did read all of what you had said, but I did not fully understand what you mean until now.
I would also like to let you know that on the "«War Thunder» Log In Issues. Recovering A Lost Password", you can not make suggestions to it.
Thank You For Your Troubles,
TrickyArmyMan
This has already been established. Please read posts on a thread before posting so you don't repeat or reword something already answered.
Ok let me try and understand this a little better as it is a little difficult to follow
1.) You updated your password and accidentally added in 2 step authentication.
2.) You now have to use 2 step authentication each time you login to the game/website
3.) You now wish to remove 2 step authentication from your account?
Ok, what you will need to do is the following.
1.) Login to your Gaijin account - https://login.gaijin.net/en
2.) Click 'Personal Area"
3.) At the top right, click 'Security' and then 'Account Protection'
4.) The top option will be to remove 2 step authentication
In order to have setup 2 step authentication, you will have had to use Google Authentication. If you have since removed this from your phone, you will need to contact support - https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us and advise them that you have lost your Google Authentication device and require this to be removed from the account.
If you cannot login to submit a support ticket, Add me as a friend and send me a message with all the details and I will pass this onto Support for you.
Cheers
I appreciate the reply, but I already got help from Gaijin. They helped me access my account.
Merci
It took a few days at first, but Gaijin helped me access my account within a week; as their support team is very slow at replying.
TrickyArmyMan is right! You should not have to verify over and over again. It's amazing people like you get so angry over someone having a issue with annoying things that game devs do with their websites. I am so sick of the slave mentality and the worship. Oh thy game devs can do no wrong, How dare you have a issue with anything they do. This is why we now have crappy broken games. Because people like you want to worship and defend crap instead of being critical. There is nothing wrong with being critical. There is nothing wrong with not agreeing with game devs. There is nothing wrong with complaining. Now stop pretending we have to bend over and take everything. Because we are not. And if you get offended then tough. Welcome to the real world and reality.
