M24 Chaffee

I dont know about everyone else but this is bar far my fav tank so far thats ive played.its nothing but a bundle of fun. The gun with the researched ammo is pretty good,the speed is great once you get up to it can stuggle to get moving. Im sure the walker bulldog will be a blast but until i unlock it m24 Chaffe is my go to tank for fun.

of course this tank is fun. It's agil and fast. But like nearly all us-tanks it's way to low in BR. Thank god they did't put the same bulletproof armor on it like the M4 has.
The M24 is a nice one-shot, if you can hit him.

The Chaffee is really fun to play in as it's so fast. I've used it to cap in domination at the start of the match and then just go around behind enemy lines trolling people with my small size and speed. Personally I think it's BR is perfect, it's fast and has a decent gun but literally everything at that rating can destroy it no problem.

Plus I find it kinda cute. No idea why but War Thunder actually made me find a tank cute.

well, lock at the german Hetzer. It's BR is much higher but both tanks apeared nearly the same time on the field. Of course there roles are different, but i really don't see more value in the Hetzer (in his role as tank destroyer) than in the M24 (in his role as scout/light tank).

You have to look at it this way there is no real use for a scout tank in war thunder so you have to give them something to do and some light tanks were actually used a fast attack units and the chaffee had a really good gun on it for a light tanks you increase it br and there really isnt much its going to do like wicked said at its current br anything can kill it very easy only reason it seems op is its speed and the ability to flank easy which any tank is easy to kill when you can flank so it not really op.

Well, the M24 is cute yes, but it will never be cute as the M22 locust. F*cking hell, that tank is so little fast and cute, i would cuddle that thing. Cutest tank in the history.

Not really, I've been killed by the M16's quad .50s and the Whirlbilwind's(spelling?) quad 20mms. I've even been set on fire by the single .50 on top of the M4A1 Sherman. Granted I've done it to other light tanks in my own M4A1. Doesn't take away from the fun.

But frontally.. that's really weird, never seen it happening. Btw you all should fear the power of the flakpanzer II. That little van is a monster. I used to get 5-6 kills in a row with that. I love how people underestimate his power.

EDIT: I saw now that you've been set on fire by the single .50.. Funny how a similiar thing yesterday. I just were spamming the machine gun to a T-34's barrel and i took out his gunner, commander, and the whole turret. I have no idea what happened. Maybe i shot at the shell he had loaded?

I played some realistic the other day, Every time I died it was because a chaffee sneaked behind our lines and nobody was able to see or hit it...

so yea gonna call it OP

chaffee has some ludicrous angling going on that makes it deflect shots ~80% of the time that should absolutely wreck the 20mm of armor it supposedly has. Not to mention its main gun is hilariously powerful
