The secret to aiming!!!

Is their a secret to aiming? My crew skills are 65 to 100, I have pracitced in test flight and single/dynamic battles (where my aim is pretty good), and yet when I go into PvP it sucks. I'll spend a full clip trying to kill a target (only air, ground targets aim is good) when a teammate will fly in and get the kill shot VERY quickly. If anyone can offer help, advice, criticism it would very appericated. I use mouse/key and play mostly AB with some RB. Thanks

What is your FPS and Ping like? This could be a problem. Also at what distance is this happening? If it is at a fairly far distance than it's quite understandable. If it's up close....you need to have your eyes checked. :D

One tip: Pay attention to how close your enemies are. If the distance starts increasing or stays the same they are probably flying away from you. If they are slowly getting closer they are probably flying in a general up direction, or you are coming at them from the side. If they are getting rapidly closer, they are heading toward you. Also, use your radar in a similar way.

It might also help to turn off sun flair. While it looks really pretty, it is hard to see things sometimes, especially when the sun is directly in your face.

I also see that you are playing ♥♥♥♥. I have played them to the top of tier 2 and found that aiming with them is rather difficult for a few reasons.

1. They are so mobile, that when you move to aim you over adjust. It's hard to keep it on target
2. Their guns seem to be somewhat innaccurate. This could just be me and my ever present imagination, but then again....maybe it's not.
3. People like to turn battle you because they are bad. It is fairly difficult to hit a turning plane, simply because you are trying to keep up with their turning while keeping your aim true at the same time. It's a difficult technique to master, but once you get it....let the pilot kills begin!

no it doesnt since a few updates the 50cals are awsome and kill fast!

set convergency to 700m and you should be fine...

You only want to aim directly at the aim indicator if you are directly behind them and they are not moving much. Then you will usually get direct hits. Also, if you are having a problem shooting people down with less than a whole ammo belt, you might want to try only firing 2-4 bursts. The longer you shoot the more recoil you get and the less accurate your aim will be.
