Jagdpanzer getting overpressured?!

I just got knocked out by HE just barely scraping my MG. Verified the shot in protection analysis. Are Jagdpanzer 38(t)'s suppose to be able to be over pressured that easily?

Seems like it take away from the only real advantage that tank had.

The Hetzer is really good, really. It is not a massive weak spot really. I rarely get destroyed via a roof strike. :inquisition:

I think that's just because people don't know about it, but for those of us that do, I think it's a glaring weak spot. Any Hetzers I see from here on out are getting the same one tap pop all other open tops get. I had trouble with them before, by trying to flank them, but now they seem elementary.

I do see that periscope hole but I challenge whether that can cause an OP or not. I'm no physicist but I did study it a fair bit in college and aced it. I don't think that hole has enough conductance for all that pressure to go through without ripping that hole open (and thus being a hull breach anyway).

Doesn't matter in the end. HE to Hetzer MG is what I'm taking away from this convo

alot of tanks vison slits and sights are weaknesses since irs not always very armored around it

For sure, but I just feel like other nations (at least US and USSR) did* a better job of making them not so much of a weak spot. Like you really have to get a good shot to cave them in unless you already had the pen to begin with.

*Gaijin did this in game. Not the actual nations. Just stating I'm aware this is not accurate to real life
