RESTARTED ME!

i recently got a new pc and was doing decent in the tech tree and when i go to log in im back at br 1 with the beginning tanks in all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ countrys, last time i ever play this stupid ass game unless someone can help

did you login using steam or login using a gaijin account

You probably created a new acc when trying to launch on steam. I had the same issue, contact support and they will fix it, they fixed mine in no longer than a few security e-mails.

Your War Thunder account progress is saved "Server Side," it has nothing to do with what gaming device you're using.

As others pointed out, you more than likely logged into the wrong account. Steam accounts are unique accounts and have their own account information. Gaijin accounts are direct accounts tied to Gaijin that can be used on any of the games Gaijin publishes and have their own account progression information.

Start by logging out of your War Thunder account. Click on your player profile in the Hangar and select "Switch user." This will take you to the login page where you can choose to sign in with your Steam account or your Gaijin.net account.

I've seen someone mention that the option is not available unless you created the Steam account before a certain point, so contact support.

Neither is calling the game stupid when you should be asking for help.

There is some weird issue where the log out button doesn't appear if you log into via steam.
Go to the directory where the game is installed, and open it from the launcer exe. I believe there's a way there, or once opening the game from that where you can logout/change account

i fixed it by going on redding an reading that if you turn off your wifi and try to log in it will fix it some how so i did that and it worked, (it logged me out and i managed to log in again and my stuff was back

TLDR; the game does have a stupid bug that prevented the OP from logging in
