if you are a calm and calculated person and like to support teammate go for 2S38, you will get one shotted a lot in 2S38 if you are rushing and showing your front armor to enemy
T-80 of you want a more standard mbt experience
I don't have it but I should think it is a good vehicle for progression purposes.
Bigger is better when it comes to one shotting your enemies. Also the T80UD can actually tank hits unlike the piece of crap 2S38, which will die the moment somebody sneezes on it.
Nah I'm spitting straight facts and no cap. 125mm APFSDS has more mass than NATO 105mm and 120mm APFSDS rounds, leading to more spalling. Check the stat card on 3BM60 the next time you get blasted by its massive cone of spall.
57mm APFSDS on the 2S38 is garbage compared to any of the 3 above calibers and will take multiple shots to kill a target most of the time.
Instant kill vs putting 3-5 shots into the target wasting 2 or so seconds, your choice lmfao.
I used to think that as well, but there are plenty of situations you actually need missiles, notably any of the LEO guided bombers and helis that are too far out for AC fire to reach. For now, still bringing a strela/2S6 is a must.
1) Because the FV4005 is British.
2) I never claimed it’s the best vehicle, but that would go to either a battleship or a modern jet because a jet is more advanced and a battleship has more raw devastating firepower.
3) It’s a tank destroyer and not a MBT, the doctrine behind it is decades out of date.
4) Size of the round matters. I don’t care if it’s an Abrams or a Maus, neither is surviving a direct hit from a 16 inch battleship round.
5) The OBJ292 with its 152mm APFSDS is better than even the Leopard 2A7 in terms of penetration and damage. But even a battleship will dwarf its damage potential. When is the last time you saw a tank kill a battleship?
