Best tier II plane US?

I have the XP-55 or whatever for 3900 eagles, its a beast with its weaponry but it doesn't turn very well, so yah

Why would you turn all it needs to do is fight in the vertical

Well it doesn't have a rudder so if I overshoot an enemy they can easily get behind me

F2-A3 Buffalo. Oops you meant t2. Umm, The Airacobras are fun, along with the Hellcat. The wildcats can be decent, albiet a bit slow.

Nothing in the american tree turns particularily well. Aside from the premium zero i guess, and spitfire if you have it. Most should be used as Boom and Zoom aircraft.

Thanks a lot man, I just find the US side weaponry to be a little OP, the XP-55 can take out any tier I or II bombers and fighters in very few well placed shots

Then make sure that you have so much speed advantage over your enemies that they can't get easily behind you when you overshoot. Play the plane like it's meant to be played - as a Boom & Zoom craft that dives from on high, takes one strafing run, and then runs away and climbs again. Virtually all American aircraft handle best that way because they're rather poor turners.

Tiers really don't matter as much as the Battle Ranking. My problem is at least on arcade the american aircraft don't seem to climb fast enough to probably climb after a dive on somebody.

I used to love the Ascender. It was awesome. Back when I bought it, It's only downside was it didn't have WEP. But now it does.

But I feel like the U.S premium planes got sneak-nerfed sometimes in the past because none of them perform like they used too. And the Ascender doesn't seem to dogfight as good as it did. Now I mainly use it as an Intercepter and head-on bomber hunter.
