Plane names.
Shouldn't we be able to name our planes? Or tis this a tradition only the Americans have?

You can name your plane whatever you want, you just can't label it in game

There's a variety of decals available that have names in them. Put them on a plane, and you've got your name.

Another thing I just remembered you could do is make your own custom camos. You could make custom camos for your planes and display names or whatever else you wanted on them.

Funny, most of My A6Ms have the name "Dear god, please stop burning" :D:
That's an awfully long name, my A6M2s are named Matchbox, Torch, Blaze, and my new A6M3 is called Flame.

I named all of my FW-190s, up until the Doras, Butcher Bird, but my A5/U2 is also known as "Dear God, look at all that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lead coming at me"

Well, I call my He-111H-16 "Skywhale Cannon", my He-111H-3 "Skywhale Lions", and my He-111H-6 "Skywhale Naval". I quite enjoy flying my skywhales, and clubbing poor fighters who underestimate or tailgate.:emofdr:

My M.B. 162 is fast, annoying, and prey, so I call it the Roadrunner.

And The D.371/D.373 twists, tangos, and is about as durable as a small urban car, so I call it the Twingo.

Also the Vindicator, in all of it's variants and user nations, I refer to as the "Wind Speed Indicator." It has some historical basis - Marine pilots would call it that due to the tendency of the airframe to vibrate like crazy whenever it was windy out.
