Pz IV model G,H,J difference?
Is there actually any difference besides the small RP bonus on those tanks I have not niticed yet that would make it worthwile getting them? especially model H,J since they seem toally equal...

The H model has some extra sideskirt armour on the hull and the turret. Its main benefit is against HE and HEAT shells: Because they detonate on impact on the skirts instead of your tank hull, their chance to actually do anything to you can be a lot lower than if you had no skirts attached. Compared to the G, it also has a slightly longer gun (L/48 compared to L/43), but the effect of that in the game is rather small, so you can ignore it.
Downside is that the skirts are usually one-shot effective only, because they have a habit of just getting blown off your tank. Still, the H is the best Panzer IV version you can get.

The J model actually is a downgrade even over the G model. Compared to the G, it has the advantage of the slightly longer gun and turret sideskirts of the H model. But the disadvantage is that it no longer has a powered turret traverse, which means that your turret will turn a good deal slower than on the other Panzer IV versions. That's a disadvantage large enough to negate the advantages and then some.
Technically, it also has less view ports than the other versions, so it should theoretically be less able to spot targets around itself. Haven't really noticed a difference in that regard, though, so the main disadvantage is the slow turret.

Overall, I'd rate the tanks in this way: H > G > J.

Great description, could you perhaps help me to understand on how to use the PZ III "N" Model?
The low velocity doesn't help and I can't figure out or have any success besides using the HEAT rounds for it.

(I have almost all tanks unlocked on all factions and am currently using a 3.0 BR lineup to work on unlocking the skins for those vehicles)

I haven't played it myself, but judging from what gun it has and what tanks it meets at its BR, there is no alternative to the HEAT shells as standard ammo in my book.

The APHE shells have such an abysmal penetration that they're completely useless against most tanks you meet, unless it's the right model with weak side or rear armour, and you get close enough. Your reload is pretty fast, though, so it might be worth taking some along in case a situation like that presents itself.

I wish I have seen this before reaserching the J. Other than the 10mm extra on rear armor, which at 4.7 br is nothing anyway J is garbage... it has slower turrent turn rate than Panther D.

I still researched it and bought it and spaded it, my spading OCD just got the better of me.

I did the same, because spading = free RP for the next tank... :D

Yea but to fully upgrade it you have to suffer through a lot of battles... PZ IV H is really good though, best in that BR in my opinion. Too bad 4.7 gets slotted with 5.7 sometimes and you end up trying to pick at a tiger or panther...

Yep I skipped J model completely, its garbage. 5.1°/s vs 16.5°/s turret rot. speed of H model, and not even better ammo for it...
