Player controlled tanks and planes in same battle?

Hi,

Im new to this game and ive always liked Anti-air weapons. I saw some videos where players shot down player controlled planes with different Anti-air flaks and stuff.

I researched the first flak from germans and ive seen like 1 or 2 planes in 10 matches.
Im playing realistic tank battles. Is this normal or should there be more planes in every match, it kinda gets lonely sitting with flak and nothing to shoot at.

In realistic, people have to do well enough to bring out their plane(s) and if they don't, they have to go back to hangar cause there is nothing else for them to do.

Its the more points you have the bigger the plane is and iirc its 3 fighter planes, 2 torpedo planes and 1 bomber, so no your not lonely, and depends on the map, some matches ive been in the planes were more or less flying all the time would of been perfect if i had AA

So in the aviation side you cant join directly to a game where there is player controlled tanks?
Like Realistic Air Battle doesnt contain player ground forces but Realistic Tank battles do contain player controlled planes if they meet some criteria?

I like playing with planes and tanks but the thing that really got me was the AA, thats why im asking if im doing something wrong..

Someone cannot join a ground battle with a plane to start, they have to get enough points.

Ok, so you start out with tanks and when you rank up the points by killing, capping. You then get the option to spawn as one of your planes, what happens to your tank? Do you first have to die as tank to spawn as plane? Or do you have to be certain rank in aviation to be able to do it?

To bring in your plane, your tank has to be destroyed and you have to have gotten enough 'spawn points' which you can't tell if you have until your tank is destroyed. Note that this is for realistic battles. Also to note, have your planes' BR match that of your tanks. If you have a 5.0 BR plane and a 2.3 BR tank, you are gonna get matched with 5.0 BR tanks.

Play a custom scenerio. Its not a ranked match but you can play as tanks or planes.

Try Arcade. People get more points, ergo more planes, ergo more targets for you to shoot at. And people in arcade are mostly garbage at taking care of bombers anyways so a good Flaktruck driver is usually a welcome sight.

You don't get any RP though, and tier restrictions are off iirc
