its for fun it wasnt meant to be realistic
He wasn't making an educated statement...
Just ignore it.
In terms of war movies: IT could have been better...
a lot better if they wanted to be historically accurate.
In terms of action movies: IT was pretty good. I mean come on, at the beginning of the movie Brad Pitt stabs a Nazi through the eye...
Band of Brothers series
The Pacific series
Talvisota (1989)
unsere mütter unsere väter (3 part series, each movie length)
Letters from Iwo Jima, as already mentioned
And for entertainment purposes I recomend "Cross of Iron" , it has a unique feel to it.
I didn't even give Fury a chance. I assume it's filled with over the top unrealistic action and ultra patriotic propoganda.
But then I didn't make an educated statement and it should be ignored? LOL.
Movie sucked hard. It's was a joke of a war movie, and a joke of a action movie. It's overrated garbage. The only value it has, it's the budget they had, so visualy it is top notch.
But the story itself, the writing, the conversations they have, it's all laughable and cliche.
Word.
