I enjoyed the movie, just that last stand was totally ridiculous.

Yes the last stand was over the top and dramatic
Watch Lebanon, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1483831/

The whole film is shot from with in the tank. I would hate to be a tank crew.

The 76 MM sherman IS the E8. You can get it ingame.

I got all the tanks in the game unlocked, and I got it ready when me and my pals are gonna play :) Thanks a lot.

skip movies if you "really" want to know what tank warfare in WW2 was like. read the book, "Death Traps: The Survival of an American Armored Division in World War II".

Fury is a great action flick but is purely fiction. it wasn't based on anything other than a fictional story. interesting note, the movie features the last working WW2 Tiger tank in the world.

And take it with a huge grain of salt. It's a rather infamous book in terms of accurately depicting tank performance, and one of those sources for a good deal of myths about, for example, the Sherman and how it was supposedly such a completely **** tank.

Thanks

ps: Already knew about the Tiger, Heard "Jingles" Mention it a couple of times.

The movie is overrated piece of shi*. I laugh thru the second half of it.

Do yourself a favour and go watch some of the older WW2 movies.
Believe it or not the movie had some pretty good historical accuracies to it. especially in the attitudes of tank crewmen.

The sherman they use is the EZ8. I did see an early war model 75mm m4 sherman in the later part of the movie when their fighting the tiger.
Saw a hellcat, and even those greyhounds were nice.

On the topic of how germans felt about hitler: They knew what he was doing. The soldiers knew about the holocaust and the jews. They chose to do nothing about it and fight in his name still. You can sit here and fluff it up and say "oh they were forced!" no, They werent. Not like that. the Werhmark or however it's spelled, was a funded group by the Nazi party. they were their property.
A few weeks ago I read the report about a man who Survived the bombing of Dresdan as a kid, He talked about the attitude of germans towards hitler. How at the beginning of the war they all worshiped him but towards the end they turned face because the war wasn't going how he planned. And they all knew about the slaughter of jews. He talked about how the civilian train pasted by the concentration camps every day. How sometimes you could see them hanging the jews, or working them to death. He said one time he saw a jewish girl being raped by the fence.

The Holocaust was no secret to the german people. They just played dumb because they didn't want to suffer the same wrath as the german military was after the war.

IF you want to play as the same sherman from FURY, go to World of Tanks. They have it.

The Longest day, And Patton are my two favorite WWII movies. Patton's speech at the beginning is just epic.
"We're going to hold him by the nose and kick em' in the ass!" We're gonna kick the hell outa em' all the time! and we're gonna go through em! like crap through a goose!"
