Will Infantry be added?

I'm just curious, because I saw 2 trailers with Infantry. And some tanks like the BT-5 ( or some other Russian tank, idk ) have multiple machine guns that will soon be controllable.

Machine guns are planned to be implemented but infantry will not be implemented into the game

if they are going to be added they are going to be added after the "SHIP" portion of the game

Well, who knows. WitchKingAngmar's answer of no is probably one of uncertainty as we are yet to really see where this game is going. I'd like to see infantry. The research tree would be probably for different weapons and equiptment, so we would all start off with Bolt Action, get semi auto, then MG's and so on. And perhaps even Anti tank gun teams would be cool. Who knows, it would take alot of work to make it fit with the current game, and probably the final release of the game. Either way, its going to be a tough one to make work right, but with some thought, it could work.

But then machine guns woud be pointless, except for taking out the AAA trucks.

Infantry will not be added. The Devs have stated several times that they will not add infantry because they would have to raise the game rating a lot, and lose a large player base.

But in some missions there are small groups of infantry that fire small arms (7.92, 7.62, 7.7, etc) at planes, and when a plane shoots one it just disappears.

Yes, there are infantry in game, as AI. But playable infantry will not be added because it will make the game go from +13 to an M rating or Pegi 18 rating.

Oh. Well that's all I meant. Will the AI be used in Tank battles in future updates (if you know that info)?

Yep, never stopped me either, though you also need to have parents that are either not tech savy or which, as was the case with my mother, don't care as long as you do your household chores and don't ♥♥♥♥ up too badly in school. I played several games that, at least in the age of the C64, where considered quite violent.

Then again, age rating wasn't really a thing for games back then, though they did restrict (read censor) some games here in Germany, not that that stopped anyone from getting them through one channel or another (which channels I leave up to your dirty imagination).

That is not completely true , also long as they follow alot of rules they can EASY make it so it not turn to M or Pegi 18 rating.
