IOG in ATGMs
Does anyone know how these work exactly? i was testing it on my rooivalks mokopa missiles but they never seem to do what IOG suggests, the target isnt moving, i lock it with F so the sight tracks the target then fire, i wait about 3 seconds to give it a moment just in case it needs some time to track the last laser point and then duck away but it never hits, am i doing something wrong?

IOG isn't going to hit anything without terminal guidance, there is always some drift.

The purpose is to get the missile close enough without being exposed, then pop up and lase the target for terminal.

okay that makes much more sense, the way it was described on the wiki made it sound like it was suppose to hit right where the lase last was, so in theory if your target does'nt move it would act as a makeshift FAF, but if there is drift like you say then that explains why it never seems to hit.

ill try ducking then coming back up to guide it the rest of the way in a little bit and see what its accuracy is like.
