IS-6 Armor

IS-6's armor is way too op for its BR, there is almost no way of pening it from either its forward or sides with any AP shell and not all tanks in the same BR have heat rounds, and recently it's been present in every single match and wipes out everything and everyone.
please do something about it

True, but the rest of the tank is incredibly well armoured for its BR. If you make a single mistake then you're done. This is coming from someone who's highest earning tank is the IS6 because of how brutally effective it is.

Same is true for most Heavy tanks. If you waste your shot into armor, you are going to have a bad time.

What tank are you using?

The american branch, around 6.7 & 7, pretty much the T26E5, T92, M46 and T34, still without having a heatfs it's almost impossible to do anything

Not really. All of those can pen the sides without any issue.

for tigers there is an easy answer, the front plate of the turret, for tiger 2 p it's only 100mm and even a t 34 85 can easily own it, for tiger 2h it's 185, grab an apcr and shoot the right side of the barrel, it will take out the gunner and the commander, maybe turret ring and cannon breech too if you're lucky. if your apcr had a good pen value then maybe it'll reach to the ammo stowage at the back of the turret and cause an internal explosion.
just make sure you are going to hit the plate at it's flattest angle

yes they can, but only at a near 90 degrees angle, which is very hard to obtain when the mf is rushing you face forward

Dont know what type of stuff you're smoking but I want some. Just for example. My k/d in my IS6 is 3. My K/D in my tiger 2 is 1.6. Both not bad however the IS6 is just better than the tiger in every way.

Dont know what type of stuff you're smoking but I want some. Just for example. My k/d in my IS6 is 3. My K/D in my tiger 2 is 1.6. Both not bad however the IS6 is just better than the tiger in every way.

exactly, and that's why I say the is6 is too op for it's br, it needs to be at least 7.3 or 7.7

Dude I can pen the IS6 from the side with my 76mm shermans, thus I think it should be moved down to 4.7 because as we all know IF YOU CAN PEN IT FROM THE SIDES THAT MEANS IT ISNT OP, MAUS TO 5.7.


Jokes aside the IS6 is one of the single most powerful vehicles br for br in the game. It absolutely dominates in the hands of even semi competent players.

Oh, stop. A T92 and an M46 can easily make short work of an IS-6 frontally. If you're in a T34, then either break it's breach, cannon, then finish it off. Additionally, just 50 cal the tracks, then circle it after it fires.

The only one of those that would have any trouble might be the T26E5, but then again if you're doing head-to-head against an IS-6 then that is user error.

There are far better vehicles at 7.3 than the IS-6.

The commander hatch on the turret are fairly easy to pen if your gun have at least 120 penetration. (just avoid HEAT and APCR)
