plane is rolling to left agressively...with joystick
I can't fly with a joystick because of that agressive rolling to the left. I understand the prop torque thing, but it can't be this agressive?! I TRY to use my logitech extreme 3d pro joystick. And it's a brand new.

In controller setup I'm using full real controls. After the takeoff, plane pulls to the left and it's a real job trying to keep it straight. Only adjusting the correction in controls setup helps a little.
Is this a common problem or am I doing something terribly wrong?

Go into the yaw/roll settings and see if there's any input while the stick is centered. If there isn't, it just means thats the torque. Luckily you're using Full Real controls so you can set trims to counteract this.

I used the same joystick and it's fine.

Tip, do NOT use joystick for Ab and RB, unless your very good with your particular joystick. WT has bad joystick support.

Its not that it has bad joystick support, its just more difficult to setup than most other games. Also the fly by wire mechanic for mouse aim is laser accurate. However, they can't pull as well manuvers as a stick can. Practicing your aim will at least let you play in RB without too much trouble. I suggest going into a test flight and make sure your controls are to your liking. Then see if you can destroy the ground units in one pass, or keep trying until you can.

Propeller is spinning to the right hence the pull to the left when in the air. Try flying a plane with two engines.

I tried two engines bomber, but it pulled to the left also. Not as badly though.

You mean that yours doesn't pull to the left?
Thanks a lot to you all for helping to get some info about this.

In AB and RB it never did. Only in SB did i have to use the trim control (even then it barely pulled to the left.)

Default HOTAS settings set rudder trim to throttle. I had a horrible time trying to take off because of a severe pull to the left. Found the problem on the forums, but never a solution for the rare few that experience this. But looking at my settings (default x-55) it assigned the rudder trim to the throttle also (in full aircraft controls), so any time I would throttle up I would have to counter with twist, and it was unmanageable. After unbinding the rudder trim, and changing it to something more reasonable, I can fly in sim mode with ease, as it should be.

Hope this helps someone!

Keep you plane straight on the runway using the rudder, not the joystick although using both can work too. And yes, that the prop torc, if you aren't sure and think its another problem try flying a soviet plane (the torc in this case is to the right) and see if you tip to the left too.
