I got to level 100 playing sim air, I was high level before I first played reserve tanks
Hell even in air itself I have seen people reach level 100 just grinding out the air trees in their bombers, it was actually the thing people did in sim for quite a while and for a lot of people the first time they touched a fighter was when they were level 100 and in the top tier fighter of their chosen nation. It ends as badly for them as you would expect
I
Actually there was a particularly extreme case I came across who got to level 100 in one plane, after they unlocked the a20 havoc they never played anything else, they had a bare handful of matches in earlier aircraft and thousands in that one
Level is purely a function of raw playtime, which does not equal skill or experience if they have spent that time stupidly. Particularly if the majority of that playtime has been spent in an entirely different mode to that you are currently playing
Ok I get your point, but as you said it is more extreme cases where people do not know some stuff. If you have 100 lvl and let's say 3k on clock and play mostly tanks you will have tons of advantage against new players. For example take these crew skills, 150 lvl, reaload times, aiming etc..
Even in planes you have Condition/Durability of pilot and his/her ability to deal with G force..
just because im level 100 doesnt mean im tryhard lmao, the actual reason you might consider people tryhards is because of the event that is going on now, better score=better progress which means faster you get the event vehicle, in 1-2 days event should be over and low BRs will be easier to play again,
reaching level 100 doesnt mean they are the best players, people can enjoy low BR vehicles or just casual play, forcing people into a loop of tryhard gameplay just because they put a few hundred hours more than you just doesnt sit right, you will reach level 100 sooner or later and i dont think you would want to play what you asked above
It means experience, a lot of it, I have 900h and I'm lvl 67? or something, so you know something about games, mechanics, maps etc.
Nah it is randomly checking, I mostly check when I die from noob in CAS, mostly it is 100 lvl so it just bothering me I do not see some low lvl players doing it, simialr if it comes to spawnkilling in Air battles.
Does the OP practice what he preaches?
But as you said, le me quote it "reaching level 100 doesnt mean they are the best players" I agree on that, but it gives them a lot of advantage due to experiecne / research / crew skills, so maybe it would be wise to MM matchs somehow on lvl?
Yeah, I have US around 7.0 on ground and 6.0 on air, I play mostly US, still after this 900h I have 67 lvl, my crew skills are around 60 lvl per slot, I have 4 or 5 slots, which 1 is plane with 1st lvl. So people which I met on this matchs have still 100 lvl and god knows how many hours with a lot crew skills advantage probably..
I didn't even start playing realistic modes until I got to level 78, and at level 100 I still sucked. I play all nations land, air and sea if they have it and even now I have crews still under level 70 BUT the important point you make is experience, things like map knowledge and weak spots. How do you quantify this?
It means experience for some players and also means nothing for some of them. I met many players in the game with 100lvl account and about 2k hours of gameplay and they were still playing like useless noobs. A dumb idiot can play this game for 10k hours and have 10 accounts with 100lvl but if he can't learn from his own mistakes he still will be an idiot
Likewise, a lvl100 ARB main can get into GRB and get rolled over by lvl0s, both being stuck with each other because both haven't played GRB before.
and now you can use rank 1 vehicles to grind events! so even the devs understand
