count kills that happened just before the battle ends
so your telling me that i kill someone 5 seconds before the match ends (not spawncamping mind you) and the game decides "well, oops that doesn't count" just because.

If the tickets are empty, the game is over. Kills after that have never counted.
The game ends when the tickets reach zero.

Agreed. A kill is a kill.

Goals in sports don't count after the team is heading to the locker room

this is a terrible analogy because it's not like the tanks are retreating, they are still shooting back at you.

Which doesn't matter, because the game is over.

Whether you kill an enemy, or die to one AFTER the tickets are empty, the game is over. Nothing counts

Its a great analogy. Just because your client hasnt received the end of match screen doesnt mean others have not. As with everything else in Warthunder the important point is the server has declared end of match.

Then again in naval you can be credited with a kill right in the same second as the "Mission accomplished/failed" screen pops up - and the opponent player in question won't get his ship counted as destroyed....

Win-Win situatiuon I'd say...

They should still count.

The game is over. They do not count. That is all there is to it.

If they did; then I'd expect to see you here next week complaining about a death/repair costs from a game that was over.

Hmm nope. Why would I complain about that? Fair is fair.
