Why? Russia doesnt have an aircraft any where near as sophisticated as a F-15E or even an F-16C. Some people like to think they do but not really.

That's barely even as good as the Russian planes already in game, just with less ammo capacity.

the problem is that whenever a new plane is added, wallet warriors will rush to research boost the plane, and then slaughter downtiers with them. this makes it harder for normal people to enjoy the game and have fun. if those planes under 13.0 could never face uptiers, and only play at their br, it would improve the game.

It's more of a meme pick than a practical one though if it was added it would be the most maneuverable jet in the game with a ~18-20 second hard turn so you'd get one hell of a UFO if it managed to reach dogfighting range, giving it some merit over the SU-27/29/33 but I don't see normal players managing to get into a dogfight with it let alone managing to handle something that fast and maneuverable without breaking it or underutilizing it, defeating the whole point.

There are many Flanker variations to be added still. Some with TVC, some with better radars, EW suites, some with all of that, etc.
