that thing was nicknamed the 'spacefire' by the community for its ability to outclimb just about everything, in an optimal climb it can get to 5000m faster than any bf109 in the game. the number of prop aircraft that can outclimb is an extremely short list including some very rarely seen vehicles like the p38k and ki83
and even ignoring its credentials for climbing its still an early merlin engine variant meaning it should turn circles around anything german or american
if you cant win with those advantages i dont know what else to tell you mate
as for the other 5.7 variants, they are early examples using the later griffon engine, being heavier and more powerful as they are the start of the spitfires transition into energy fighters which later culminates in the swan song of the line in the form of the mk22 and 24.
They are still spitfires though and should still be capable of out-turning most other energy fighters even if they cannot engage a regular turn fighter in the same way anymore. how you engage is going to be dependant on what you are facing
