opinions on the next battlepass, should i grind for the main reward in the next battlepass?

You could push it to 7.3 and build a pseudo lineup with the AMX-50 Foch and the AMX-10P tank destroyers and some vehicles from the 6.7 lineup, but is it really worth it? I don't think so. The HEAT-FS on the M46 will definitively help and the APCBC is still great at one shoting the stuff that you can pen with it, but the armor will suffer in uptiers and the mobility is middling.

It's also a copy + paste of the US M46, so there is nothing new with it. I'm honestly very suprised that it is a battlepass vehicle rather than just added to the tech tree. It's not special in any way and it's not even exciting. It should just have been added to the tree ages ago.

A better plan for you if you want to grind the french tech tree is to get the Somua SM during a sale and enjoy the very strong French 7.7 lineup and all those big guns with a 4 sec autoloader.

two copy paste tech tree vehicles and a random box vehicle from previous battlepass. They aren't even trying anymore. Its pure garbage.

you only need to reach level 75 to gain all the vehicles. 90 days for 75 levels is not much of a grind.

Unless you want them purely as Premium vehicles to have, this one is a hard skip. This one is definitely the most disappointing Battle Pass so far.

do not forget the 6 vehicles in the war bond shop you might already have them or you might not

or

I do the Battle Pass, for the same reason I do history/holiday events. The challenge. I do not have to change anything in how I play just the missions I play.

OK I will put it in a different way. I like fighting battles, War Thunder is nothing more then a battle generator. The events/Battle Pass et al just give a little meaning to the battles I fight. I don't give a hoot for the rewards.

Could at least do one of each; instead of two C/P vehicles.


Personally, I'm whelmed, maybe even under whelmed with this, and the last BP.
If I weren't getting them for free from previous trade coupons, even the collector in me might pass on them

true, well, most of the time i don't have all of them, plus it's pretty nice to have the warbond shop, as you can get free prems there, also from the battlepass, so i'd say if it's worth getting one of the vehicles, i'll do it

The issue is that the BP is copypaste, the event is and the patch is.
Adding a SPH is cool, adding that SPH to every single tree isn't.
I understand that when it comes to newer machines they tend to be based off of a tried and tested frame and not every country is making domestic designs.
That doesn't subtract from the only thing being added lately is T-80Us that may or may not have an extra Contact-5 block. Gaijin is aware that there has been like cool and unique looking takes on these tanks from like every post-warsaw pact country?

I know new things get added but lately its been a real small drip feed of anything actually unique.

you can do copy paste and unique. look at the 2 fronts pack.
people treat everything like it's black and white, 1's and 0's.

people say they don't want unique vehicles being locked behind pay walls or events but some unique vehicles could never work as tech tree i.e katyusha. there's plenty of vehicles like that of which no one complained it's not tech tree. so there's already an exception to this rule people seem to want and have shown it doesn't always have to be black and white.

premiums need some uniqueness to be worth paying for, if you are removing that uniqueness you need to add it back in some way. again 2 fronts pack.

just some things needed for copy/paste:
>titles
>decals
>camos
>better rewards then a premium that actually has a uniqueness about it. because it's the uniqueness many like and pay for.
>just anything really that will give that vehicle an X factor the tech tree doesn't have i.e vismods.

I hear you, personally I'd love a European/Pacific 75mm M4A2 pack and toss an M19 in and you have an instant 4.0 lineup. I think it'd be pretty cool. These imo would also closely resemble the Tiger Ost/West pack. I mean just look at that sherman with wood plank 'armor'![www.warlordgames.com].
Or a premium B-17F Memphis Belle, or other more visually distinct vehicles that are still copies of tech trees, but with premium earnings and everything.
I crave more decals and camos, I wish all aircraft had as many camo options as aircraft like the Fw 190A-5 and the P-40E-1.
I'm actually putting together a master wishlist of similar things that I've been working on for about a month and change at this point. Hopefully I'll get it formatted up into a full suggestion, too.
