I agree that this new one is bad too cause it just is barebones and the user input is very vague.
I believe that if Gaijin really wishes for this to be a truly valuable resource it will require a paid teams hand in filling it out which will cost them and easier access to the games actual stats so people themselves can see values other than vague and frankly inaccurate stat cards already present.
As Bucher said above, the old one had a lot of outdated and incorrect information, which is why it's not included on the new one.
If you would like to visit the old wiki you can, everything is there, it's just not being updated: https://old-wiki.warthunder.com/Main_Page
We are currently working on a global search bar for the new Wiki.
For it to take time to work on is even crazier.
There are still search bars on vehicle type pages like the aviation page that work better than the old Wiki. For example if you type Spitfire it will give you a list of all Spitfires in the game in a table with other useful information. https://wiki.warthunder.com/aviation
Um, writing a database, adding a search bar, and tweaking the stylesheet might take just a day. Don't you have any high school interns who can do that?
You mean you just think of things and they happen instantly ?
Sorry for the sarcasm but you migth wanna read back what you wrote there.
To claim months after the fact that a search bar is being worked on, is crazier yet.
Obviously things take time. But to not launch with, and delay a core feature of a search bar/function is wild.
I think we can all agree and appreciate your work to improve the current wiki BUT I have to ask WHY. Why was there such a push to spend developer time re-working the wiki AND the profile page when there is soooo much to be done with game play improvements (looking at Naval since I play that mode mostly). Same old maps, same old game mechanics, same lousy MM and lousy map rotation, same old objectives etc. I think I can also say that nobody was beating down the door for a new player profile/information screen.
