the new wiki sucks so big
its so chaotic and doesn´t really help and inform you as much as the old one did. Gaijin really producing ♥♥♥♥ theses days like why would you change the wiki where you had useful information about bombs missiles vehicles etc for example the pros and cons super useful feature now its gone replaced by some colored bars woaah cool well done stupid change imo

The problem with the old one is that it was full of information that was simply wrong, either because of time or just flat out error.

I agree that this new one is bad too cause it just is barebones and the user input is very vague.
I believe that if Gaijin really wishes for this to be a truly valuable resource it will require a paid teams hand in filling it out which will cost them and easier access to the games actual stats so people themselves can see values other than vague and frankly inaccurate stat cards already present.

you literally said everything that could have been said thank you. Im happy to see that its not only me that sees it that way, we can only hope that gaijin improves it in the future idk how others liked it but the pros and cons section was pretty neat and helpful to understand the vehicle and its capebilities a little bit more (atleast it felt like that to me)

It doesn't even have a search bar! Utter rubbish.

Hey guys, thanks for your concerns. The new Wiki is not perfect at the moment but we we're working to improve it. New user content will be added when articles from players are made. For example a player has made a new article for the TB-3M-17-32 which includes pros and cons: https://wiki.warthunder.com/unit/tb_3_m17_32

As Bucher said above, the old one had a lot of outdated and incorrect information, which is why it's not included on the new one.

If you would like to visit the old wiki you can, everything is there, it's just not being updated: https://old-wiki.warthunder.com/Main_Page

We are currently working on a global search bar for the new Wiki.

Launching a wiki without a search bar is baffling, truly.

For it to take time to work on is even crazier.

There are still search bars on vehicle type pages like the aviation page that work better than the old Wiki. For example if you type Spitfire it will give you a list of all Spitfires in the game in a table with other useful information. https://wiki.warthunder.com/aviation

So for one specific instance it works better, but for every other normal type of search, it doesn't work at all/exist

Um, writing a database, adding a search bar, and tweaking the stylesheet might take just a day. Don't you have any high school interns who can do that?

I read what I wrote. Taking a functioning wiki, and ending it's life to create a new one, without the most basic feature of a search bar on launch is crazy.

To claim months after the fact that a search bar is being worked on, is crazier yet.

Obviously things take time. But to not launch with, and delay a core feature of a search bar/function is wild.

i agree with you on this one imo the last wiki should have been kept until they make something better, thats actually better not what they made here. Even if the old one had the incorrect information id still prefer it all day everyday over this new fancy piece of rubbish :steamfacepalm:
Gaijin needs to fire/ rehire the whole team working on that wiki. they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up hard

I think we can all agree and appreciate your work to improve the current wiki BUT I have to ask WHY. Why was there such a push to spend developer time re-working the wiki AND the profile page when there is soooo much to be done with game play improvements (looking at Naval since I play that mode mostly). Same old maps, same old game mechanics, same lousy MM and lousy map rotation, same old objectives etc. I think I can also say that nobody was beating down the door for a new player profile/information screen.
