My way of getting event vehicles for years now has been not to do events at all, it’s to play the market
Get a hold of a newish event vehicle, whether by grind or buying it on the cheap and sit on it until it accumulates value, sell high, use the proceeds to buy a bunch of newer event vehicles while they are cheap, wash rinse repeat
Once you get the cycle going you can use some of the gaijin coins to buy everything you want, just so long as you don’t spend everything and always have some event coupons in reserve
There are a few mechanics which are different from regular realistic such as no 3D markers, sights are from the gunner position not the barrel (you can use custom crosshair for that), friendly fire is on (MG the tracks or use the range marker key on a player to see if they are friendly or not), no third person peaking around corners, helis and planes can instanly spawn but they are harder to control and many more things.
I recommend 9 and 10 br the most, avoid top tier at all cost because the CAS is just insane.
Sim is split into low and high tier with the BRs changing each day.
For air grinding I just go with my highest tier jet and dogfight. If I die then I just hop into the next match as quick.
