King Tiger's Armor is not accurate
In the front hull, it had 180mm of armor, not 150mm.

This needs to be fixed.

I agree with the title. Irl, the King Tiger's UFP armour would crack when hit by an AP from D-25 or ML-20 due to the quality of the armour becoming worse and worse in 1944-1945, and you wouldn't really want to fight in a tank with cracked plates (and likely already dead driver and machine gunner); a hit in turret also would lead to interesting consequences even if the shell didn't penetrate it. This even lead to the command directive to avoid a fight whenever an IS-2 was spotted, as Germans couldn't produce enough of their heavy tanks and couldn't risk losing them often.

Gaijin need to do something about the historical inaccuracies in their game for better tank combat experience, don't mind German mains crying.

if you want to be that pedantic, russian steel was just as bad the entire way through the war, with very very unskilled crews and poorly maintained tanks.

not to mention american tanks would be facing tiger 1's and panthers, and that german tanks would have transmission issues, and russian tanks would be abandoned after the shell hits the front plate, since they often split open. oh and also the fact that russian tanks would cause ur crew to be automatically degraded in skill because of how cramped they are

Yeah, lets cap Russian crews to only 25 max skill points instead of 150 for historical accuracy. No expert or ace qualifications either.

That's because they were rushing tanks out of factories straight into battle. They were trying to cut as many corners as they could, which lead to a lot of broken down tanks. They didn't even paint a lot of their tanks.

And then nerf the T-34-76's reload to about 30 seconds, as the turret was insanely cramped, the ammunition too large, and storage was below the crew's feet and there was no basket, so when the turret turned you had to be careful not to trip over ammunition. Also a 60% reduction in visibility as T-34s were blind.

That becomes more appearant when comparing the Wartime production with post war T-34/85´s made in the Czech Republic from 1954 onwards. Most notably the Hull and Turret were of a higher build quality.

Not like we have real, measured sections of the hull showing it being 150mm or anything

Einstein said that uhh… the plate is thicker due to space time or whatever.

Interesting because the documentary said 180mm thick. I guess they were referring to the turret, but the wording made it look like they were talking about the frontal hull.

All this soviet tank bashing is based on some historical sources like Glantz or Zaloga works? Or on some HistoryDiscoverySomeStupidStoriesForIdiots channel?
Soviets did rush their tank production. They weren't useless in the slightest but their built quality was not great at least in the beginning. That's to be expected when you need tens of thousands of them or your nation gets overrun.
