Israeli premium M-51 gone

so the premium M-51 is gone now i wanna hear your guys opinions on it

Honestly it was just a rolled armor M4 instead of the tech tree cast armored one. Not really much different. Since the Israeli tree doesn't have tiers 1, 2, or 3, it really just helped your initial few vehicles in terms of research bonus.

I like it, I remember the first day I got it and killed three Maus in a row on the Antarctica map which was a big deal to me at the time. That with Weizman's Spitfire makes the Israeli early grind much easier.

@AttackerCat yeah true i just liked it more because it wasn't the cast hull with the easy penned corners on the base version

How is it gone? They removed it completely? or what?

Even tho I met m51 just 1 time against me with m41a1, fun to watch when you hit his hull from back, front, sides and he still can kill you :V Amazing experience.

True the corners of those cast-hulled shermans are weak, though at 6.0 really anything is going through the frontal armor anyway. The only major difference would be some autocannon SPAA are more of a threat in the cast hull.

For a medium tank it always played more like a TD. Long reload, no stabilizer, HEAT only. Felt better sniping with it than closing range.

Yes it was removed from the store after the December sales a couple weeks ago. If you already had it of course, you kept it

i bought it from the psn store for £16 on sale this xmas , i do hear quite often that you are better off spading the tech tree version though , but i'm glad i got it on sale,

I did not know they were removing it either , just checked looks like it;s gone from psn as well.

Usually it means there's new premiums coming to take their place. Perhaps Gaijin will release a pack of multiple vehicles for each nation like the one recently released for Germany.

It was a noob trap. If you want to grind Israel from scratch a talisman on the tech tree M-51 was much better.
