How to stop worrying about performance and just play?
I often find myself fearing getting a negative K/D in a vehicle for no reason. I've become obsessed with stats and it's hurting my game play. Any tips on how to stop caring for stats and enjoying the game more?

Have a mindset of "At least i hit enemies, got assists/scouts" everything helps, not everything needs to be about KD.. (People really tend to forget its actually KDA(Kill Death Assist))

+ Objectives. To actually win the Match. In regards to Rewards one Solo Cap is also worth multiple Kills. And winning a Match will yield much more Rewards as well due to the Victory Bonus

I'd recommend trying to keep in mind that performance is more or less separate from reward.

Go into your messages > Battles and look at your rewards, you'll find that kills typically don't reward as much as other major actions such as Capturing Points or Time played + Activity.

If it's not a matter of feeling anger due to a loss of reward perhaps it's time for a break? when I start getting mad or otherwise upset at things I'll take a month or so off which really does refresh the game for me.

The only other piece of advise I could offer is to find ways to improve, everyone has flaws in how they play the game, not using binoculars enough, holding W and not paying attention, not knowing how to kill the common tank types at the BR your playing, identifying and changing stuff like this can change performance radically.

stop worry about performance and just play!

I did that and OMG what has happened? I started ending the game on top of my team. It never happened when I really tried. 😉
lmao im going 1300something-300something in the p51d10, 4.4 kd. once you get ur kd good enough you just automatically stop worrying about it.
what i do is just get my kd to such a high point that its pretty much impossible to ruin. im going 4.4kd in the p51d10 and rn i just throw my balls to the wall, cuz i know that there really is no way to ruin my kd.

Accept that you're bad, then having a negative KD will not be on your mind.
You accept the fact you are bad by realising that you can improve if you put in the effort.
To add to that, accept that the average KD flaunter is an ODLer that never leaves spawn. You wouldn't want to be known as one of those, would you now?

so annoying when people with disgustingly high kd's just get 1 or 2 kills and just camp base for the remaining 20 minutes of the airfield. either land and j out or come fight. jeez

Get cheats, win all matchs, this game is addiction, you have to stay positive KD if you don't want to waste more of your time.

You play bad - you get less resource/SL - you get frustrated yet you play again to get positive KD.
You play good - you get more resource points/SL - you are happy - you play next match to get more RP/SL circle starts again.

Only casino wins here ;)

I would call that this game has gamble mechanics which are bad :)
