10 things that make Gaijin the worst developer ever:
1. Mapdesign:

Probably the biggest problem with this game is the extremely poor map design. It has nothing, but really nothing to do with scenes of tank battles. It is forced on almost every Map cqb. Tanks are not designed for close combat and are only used in exceptional cases for infantry support in close combat and urban terrain. The map design causes chaos in which you feel like you're driving a battleship in a puddle.

Everywhere, trees, buildings and hills are placed in such a way that realistic ranged combat is prevented at all costs. Good positions and tactically valuable positions are systematically removed from the maps. Every map adjustment makes these maps even more unplayable. Pure frustration, for players who prefer a halfway realistic battle.

2. Lack of protection against cheaters:

Gaijin is not willing to provide sufficient resources for a functioning and sustainable protection against cheaters. There are no innovations and it is only alibi-pretended that the successes against the cheaters are great. In truth, there are cheaters in almost all matches who destroy fair play against each other. There is no 100% cheat protection, but it is necessary to do much more about it.

3. Unfair BR classifications:

There are various vehicles that are the same as the counterparts of the different nations in terms of parameters in different BR classes, although this is absolutely unfair.

For example, state-of-the-art systems are matched against completely outdated technology
Tanks of the second world war have to fight against tanks from the 1980s etc.
The cut between the eras, which has been demanded by many players for years, is simply ignored by gaijin.
Furthermore, Russian vehicles are often (not always) given preferential treatment in the BR classification. From time to time there are adjustments, but they are above average compared to other nations.

They spam the game full of new vehicles but have completely lost control of fair combat ratings themselves. This is failure on all levels.

4. Historical inaccuracies to the detriment of NATO tanks:

When it comes to making the Russian tanks look better, gaijin leaves no opportunity to weaken the NATO tanks. Historically incorrect mechanisms are incorporated and armor is significantly weakened. This can be seen in almost every NATO tank, where the Russian vehicles are reinforced. As an example, I would like to mention the hull armor of the Leopard 2. Which in all variants is not as strong as it would be in real life. If you are interested, you can find the parameters freely accessible on the net.

As a further example, I would like to mention the turrets of the Russian T-models. These are almost invulnerable to explosive ammunition when it explodes over the tank. What this looks like in reality, we can all observe with horror in the media at the moment. In the game, on the other hand, despite perfect hits, nothing happens.

5.Russian preference in vehicle module research/modifications:

In the case of Russian vehicles, it is particularly noticeable that modules such as thermal vision, laser range finder and good ammunition were placed higher up in the modules to be researched and thus accessible earlier. In Nato vehicles, these important modules only come further down and can therefore only be researched later.

6.Permanent matching against higher BR :

The current matchmaking system artificially creates enormous inequality of opportunity. Currently, tanks that differ in 1.0 BR levels are matched with each other. Unfortunately, 90% of the time you are facing a superior opponent here. Many players are dissatisfied with this. This leads to frustration for many players. Gaijin ignores this and has no plans to improve this.

7.Endless grind:

Vehicle research requires an extremely large amount of time. The research points required are too much. When a vehicle has finally been researched after an excruciating grind, essential important modules still have to be researched. This requires a lot of time.
Without a premium account and golden eagles, this is hardly possible for most players.

8.Pending bug fixes:

Bugs and shortcomings that have existed for many years are skillfully ignored by Gaijin and not fixed. If you play the game longer, you will notice a lot.

9. Events are only for unemployed people:

Every now and then there are events where you can earn vehicles. However, an unusually high amount of time is required to complete these events, which is not possible for a person who goes to work every day and/or has a family life.

10. Gaijin's price politic and argumentation:

The controversial topic about the ULQ mode in the graphics settings always divides the community, as this mode significantly improves the possible view of the user and creates unfair advantages. Gaijin argues that there are a lot of players with little money and bad PC ́s who should get the opportunity to continue playing War Thunder. At the same time, gajin sometimes charges €69.99 for premium vehicles. That's more than a full-fledged and high-quality video game costs.

The prices have always been way too high, but instead of correcting them downwards a bit, gaijin has raised the prices enormously.

A lot of content that is sold as premium vehicles is also copy and paste.

Furthermore, gaijin reserves the right to significantly change the product properties. So you buy a product, which is then usually enormously deteriorated at a later point in time and is then no longer fun.

This is out of proportion and contradicts their own argumentation that gaijin wants to be accessible to the players. Premium time and golden eagles are also enormously expensive.

Closing Words:

The post could go on like this, but I think that should show why gaijin is perhaps the worst developer company on this planet.
Justified criticism is ignored and frustation as a business model is being reinforced more and more. This is absolutely the wrong way and leads war thunder into the abyss. The claim to realism is buried and the is actively promoted. For me, warthunder is just a shadow of its former self. I have completely lost faith in Gaijin.

11.) Areas in the battlefield are considered outside of battlefield and the game only tells you that when you're inside such area.
(Mini)map missing permament markings of those areas.

12.) toooooo many planes in GRB

13.) lots of bugs which made it into the game over the past years.
- tanks driving with dead engine, tracks, driver
- tanks/planes being sometimes invisible
- inconsistent shell/plane behaviour
and more...
Sadly all Gaijin has cared about for the last few years is money.

The map design used to be decent until they ruined it like, what, two years ago?
We used to have 2km+ engagements in panthers, standoffs between heavy tanks over great distances, which was actually fun, with multiple armor bounces before one of them hit the sweet spot, ATGMs were usable and it was not uncommon to actually miss due to range limitations on your MILAN. At the same time, almost all of the maps had CQB areas. I'm pretty sure vegetation was also much more effective as concealment, you could actually hide in it without worrying that it's not rendered for the enemy.

This all was butchered on the pretense of reducing spawn camping. And while the old maps had some trolly spots, all of them could be countered very efficiently if you knew the map (like the normandy spawn camp some cry babies complained about, which could be countered from behind a small forested area just in the spawn).

Last but not least, what I can't get over is how they screwed up environment destruction with the Kings of Battle update. Before that you could destroy almost every building on almost every map (even the tall buildings on Stalingrad!!) with medium or large caliber HE rounds. This allowed you to actually destroy cover for almost any holed up enemy, a mechanic few people used or knew about. This has been completely destroyed and each update is a complete mess in this regard (currently you can mow down certain buildings with 7,62 mm machineguns on certain maps).
Imagine to talk about THE WORST DEVELOPERS when Ubisoft exists. Some of your points are clearly deluded, especially points 4 and 5, but some of them are definitely correct.
I agree with everything you said. Gaijin need to stop focusing on the premium pack and Golden Eagle to make money.

Map:

The map design is getting worse. I want a nice long-range map instead of close combat that some tank isn't even fit to be in. Also, I want accurate historical maps based on Real life, like put Nazi flag in, like it a history to know instead of German decal flag. How p-u-s-s-y Gaijin is.

For example, Osa-AKM can't be in small maps because it needs a large room to scan the enemy and fire at Aircraft.

Un-fair BR:

I always got in the uptier match rather than being in a balanced BR match. That is all I have to say.

Bugs:

There are so many bugs out there that haven't gotten fixed. Also, Gaijin needs to remove old games that have fewer players in-game, which might be considered unworthy of keeping on service.

There is a Ghost shell, invisible tanks/planes, a dead tank's track that was still moving even though the tank was dead, and a lot more.

Conclusion:

Gaijin is very greedy, and there is nothing we can do to make Warthunder better. It seems that Warthunder has so many toxic players who don't even care about the game's problems.

I care about Warthunder; it is the only game I play. I play Russian Nation, and I noticed a lot in battle where the bomb damage wasn't right. The same goes for tank bullets that shot at my turret and the side of my armour as well that weren't right.

What did you expect? You can take the kleptocrat out of Russia, but you can't take the Russian out of the kleptocrat.

The concept 3 is from a project that ended in 1979, do you think that is should fight the M1 Abrams that was made in 1980?
Going by year would NEVER work cause you have things like that.
And going by a technology cut off would mean some nations would just not have anything to face other nations tanks, what would Japan have to fight the Maus or IS-3 for example?
Map design and slow progression are the two biggest things that hold the game down, not only in terms of player experience but also money wise for Gaijin.

Why should anybody pay for high tier access if A) The gameplay sucks and B) There aren't as many other players as in the lower brackets

that they don't put such flags in is most likely due to law and that the game may get forbidden in certain countries if they put it in.

I agree with all of it except when you mentioned Russian vehicles, imo they already the worsed in the game I do way better with any other nations vehicles. USSR ones you insta pop unless you playing low tier then they're ok. Anything else they the most frustrating and unfun vehicles to use, terrible reverse speed, no depression (which considering the bad map design this gimps them all), plus u die from anything.
Youre gonna see alot more pro Russia in the future. Might even see the HQ moving home again.
OP, i have agreed with all your points......................... 100% agrred ..... ^^
