What the point of Night Vision, if we not gonna use it
I repeat, again.

What is the point of not using night vision in GRB when it is only for 10.0 BR? I want to use night vision in an old tank, for example, IS-2, IS-1, and KV-85, just to experience and understand how it feels to be in the dark with a night vision.

All BRs need to participate in the night battle in their ranks. Not only for 10.0 and the uptier. Also, I have not gotten in the night battle at all in 10.0, so it seems like a lot of BS.

Those early Tanks did not have Night Vision. The Modification is entirely useless anyway because Night Battles are bright enough for you to be able to see anything anyway w/o the use of Night Vision or Thermals.
some tanks dont have thermals at top tier and now the flares are removed night visions are more important than before, ie. my most played russian tank is T-80UM2 which doesnt have thermals so i use night vision + IR spotlight to see around

some tanks have headlights and such and if gaijin decides to make the them usable lower BRs can get their night maps back
It really screwed up the variety and screenshot (also marketing) potential. Limiting it so harshly was a mistake.
Only tanks that have night vision IRL have night vision in game - how would a IS-2 have night vision?

"Developed" does not correlate to practicality or availability. NV devices in the 1920s were crude, expensive and not useful during that time period. It would make zero sense for early-mid WW2 vehicles to be equipped with NV, let alone the RU forces. Which are known for throwing away men into a meat grinder.

Man in the front gets the rifle, man behind him gets the stripper clip, man behind that gets the ammo. The first two corpses will provide cover, stripper clips, and rifles. Such is the way of Russian logistics.

Still surprised they use that same strategy almost 100+ years later lol.
