What BR to kill helicopters?

So the Battle Pass challenge requires player to kill 3 helicopters. I don't think I have ever before killed a helicopter. What ground BR do they first appear? I am likely not alone in never having killed one before.

Helicopters start at around 8BR, some are 7.7 but most of the ones people do field sit around 8.0 - 8.7 BR at the beginning

And the higher you go in BR the more likely you get to encounter some; 10BR+ is guaranteed to have some Helicopters each Round; way easier to do in Arcade when theres Helis available in a Match instead of Planes you always have multiple per Match

Yeah that was my first stop. But I don't know and can't tell from that where the actual helicopters are being used at a low enough BR and in sufficient quantity for me to start.
What is the most used helicopter?
I want to combine the 3 ground kills with the 3 helicopter kills to finish the challenge

I have tier VII (not complete line ups) In USA, Germany, USSR and Sweden and tier VI in the others. I don't play ground very often. I always take backups.
Before today I didn't realize how many slicks I already had researched.
But yeah just looking at the ones i have gives me a better idea of where to go if the ones i have are popular enough to encounter.

I was thinking more about 50cal

if youre a decent shot you can kill helos with main gun shots too at those low BR's

play something around 8.0 to 8.7 that often sees Germany i see a lot of those german starter Helis around lately

According to what you wrote, you have a rank VII build, which means you are able to get to the BR where the helicopters are. The highest BR edge for helicopters is 9-10-11.0 BR. Put a plane in your build, even a low BR one. Switch the map to the air view to see where the heliports are, head towards them with your plane and find the helicopter. You can destroy it even with a low BR plane, or even a biplane. Helicopters are often found around heliports. At lower BRs at the first heliport, close, at higher BRs at a distance of about 8 km from the battlefield because that is the range of their missiles. Look for helicopters near the hills they like to hide behind. Various obstacles points that can provide them with cover.

Thank you very much have 3 weeks to practice getting this right. I still need to earn enough points to spawn the aircraft right?
I started Germany 8.0 to research the Wiesel with the 7.3 ME-262 in lineup don't think any helo were present in battle.

Alright, either 11.7 or 9.0. Use the Sargent York and you’ll get an average of 1 heli per game. 9.0 you see a lot of heli rushers and dumb bugs. You can also play the Gepard and you’ll get the ground kills the same time as the air kills. Remember to turn off your search radar though, you want the heli rushers to get close.

Not giving up but lowering expectations of success. 3 ground kills not problem. 3 helo might be a problem. I think they should limit requirements to not include the top 3 tiers. I wonder what % of players could even do this challenge had they the mind to try.

high tier AA in arcade ground battles, wait till someone starts air battle(theyre usually all helis). Just have a heli with a fast velocity shot/missile etc since youll have competition from others trying to do it in a single game.

best tier to find helicopters?

Need to kill them for a BP mission.
