What premium plane should the US take?

Winter sale is coming soon, I have already started to slowly pump the US branch under a premium account, but I still want to buy a premium plane, what experienced players will advise to take at the moment, f5c, f4s, f20a, or even av-8b? P.S.: I only play air rb))

i would consider buying the F-20 or A-10 and maybe the F-4S the AV-8B (NA) isn't a bad plane per say but because of its Br it will struggle a bit outside of ground battles.

A-10 combined with premium account will make you a millionaire easy, research point will just keep rolling in too, but it can come at a cost, you are the favourable target on the battlefield, at the same time, if an enemy plane slows down to your speed, you are no longer a favourable target, just deploy flaps and it's an easy win.

If you'd rather dogfight, F-4S is a good jet, with 6 radar missiles and 4 IR, there's not much getting away from you, with stronger engines than the previous Phantoms, you have petty damn good thrust. Just try not to turn fight, you're one of the biggest and heaviest aircraft of its time so act like it.

This is coming from someone who owns both vehicles. Outside of these two, the choice is yours.

Well from the options he has specifically for air rb...
F5C after practice and mastering will grind the tech tree faster than any other imo

Definitely not.
You have 2 trash missiles at 10.7 and guaranteed to play against 11.7 every single round. Everyone will be faster than you and with R-24Rs and sparrows you won't get a single kill.
Those 10.3 days of F-5Cs are long gone.

I asked him what he wanted the plane for.
If he's going only ground, my suggestion was going to be A-6 as it's a unique plane not available in the tech tree, but it seems gaijin has pulled it out of the store.
Next best one is A-10.
For air, F-4S, as it can bomb bases and maybe get a kill or two, but the learning curve will be steep as it is the bracket for radar missiles.
Both mentioned will be better than F-5C, as you would need to know how to dogfight since the 2 missiles are pretty much useless. Problem is no one will dogfight a F-5C and all can run away.

If your goal is mass farm the US Air tree. F4S is the way to go. i completely farmed the entire us tree in less than 2 weeks using that to bomb and on avg 4-5 kills a game with the missiles this bus has.

hahahaha, thank you all very much for the answers, I figured it out for the hell of it, take f4s for farming the leveling tree, and a10 for farming silver, okay). well, in fact, I think it’s not a problem to take two planes, maybe even some other nation, well, my goal is to quickly farm silver and pump up all the US planes)

Yeh, it was supposed to go to 11.7, but gaijin went with 12.0.

im not top tier i dont know much of the game but from test driving for so long the f4 is a good choice. lots of bombs lots of capability to farm bases

I got 3 of those, a-10, av-8, f5c, then I got a wolfpack and the ah64a-gr.

Depending on playstyle, but generally for me, what I liked most was:

A10 with Wolfpack (If you dont want to buy it, just sub another tank here) with the Heli as cherry on top, this is pretty versatile imo. Sub for AV-8 if you want to be faster, and more flexible. A10 can be slow, and when spaa's and air are up, that's gonna be rough.
