yo ive heard ppl saying th ef6f is good by i barely get 1 kill, it locks up in a dive roll rate sucks ay f6f expert that know how to fly this thing??? help me plz

Take advantage of your ability to retain energy, and your ability to move around. Do not load bombs, rockets are fine though, I use them on bombers every now and then.

I personally think the F6F is at its best when used in tank RB, with a full bomb + rocket loadout. The bombs are great for clearing objectives, and the rockets for hitting individual tanks. Plus, load som AP/I ammo in to those .50s and you will SHRED enemy ground pounders.

BUT then you can't carry anything else.

I'd rather carry 2000 lbs of bombs and 6 normal rockets than 2 Huge rockets.

I get kills all the time in the F6F the main thing you want to do if you're in AB is boost to stamina on your crew.. Use it when you're hunting people away from the main battle such as a bomber, the f6f is target practice in a hoard. I plan to upload a video soon and show what each plane can do in US, that is if my game would let me sign in.

I can't get the hang of it either, it has awful climbing and turning and is extremely flammable. Though the wildcat couldn't climb either, it was at a BR where that wasn't much of a problem. I'm sure the hellcat will get good once I get more modifications, but I suck so much in it I've only earned two upgrades despite using it for 10 whole games.

There are quite a few planes that are painful to use when not fully upgraded. You just have to be patient with stock planes and pick off strays or bombers while avoiding the furballs.
That being said, it can be entertaining to just kamikaze all your planes and go for broke! It doesnt cost us anything, it's all monopoly money anyway(unless you spend real cash of course) lol

lemme say again guys, i DO NOT play AB, i started with it to learn leading and such but i only play rb now, and tthe problem is that i got the f6f SPADED= Maxed out, and i cant do ♥♥♥♥, it climbs bad it ROLLS AWUFULLY bad, i did a game just now i got 2 kills but both headon with lucky pilot sniped, maybe i should just try and aim for the wings, does it easily rip wings with 12.7mm?
