the game wont shown up after i press play button, i already try all methods but still not working, after i press play button on steam it says im playing war thunder but after i press the play button on war thunder it make my status on steam goes back to online not in-game war thunder

first you can try to verify the game files in Steam:
right click on War Thunder in the game library -> go to properites -> local files -> verify integrity of game cache.

once this is done try to launch the game again... if it is still not working you can try to update the launcher 'manually' by downloading and running the latest launcher installer from the Warthunder website

you just need to make sure to set the installation destination to your current game folder (in the Steam game folder) when you run the installer so it overwrites the existing launcher files - otherwise it will install the launcher into the default installation folder and start downloading the game from scratch.

the default Steam installation path would be
c:\program files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\War Thunder\

still not working ...failed to start ..steam says its running but thiers nothing in the task manager ? to shut down ? i think ive given up on steam launcher i run the exe inside the folder , sence i am the only person with this glitch lol

if you look at my steam page i put alot hours in this game 1,794 hrs on record ...ive never see this kind of gitch with the launcher all my files passed validation 6/19/2015 6:56 am still wont work with the game patched

did you try open task manager then find any "aces.exe" or "War Thunder Launcher" to end task

already do it, didnt found it

you might need to verify your game, something wrong with it. if its really dont helps, i suggest to make a clean reinstall.

final option, format your OS drive and reinstall your window + steam + WT

Have you instead tried to verify the integrity of the files no through Steam, but through the Launcher itself? I just posted this in a similar thread. Wrench icon top right corner of the Launcher, then click "Check files."

Have you tried also using the Work In Progress Client? You can check the option, click play, let the files download, then uncheck it after it starts.

i just unistalled it and reinstalled war thunder and still having a problem i reinstalled my graphics card drivers and everything and still nothing i dont know what to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do because I am getting to the point of never playing again and I just bought a pack not to long ago and I need it to grind my ♥♥♥♥
